Written by the love activist inside of me.
It’s not about romantic love. Just about love.
About being kind to each other.
What I want
that we're completely different and that that's okay
that we both have a god
that might be a completely different one
or maybe you have tree
and I have none
and that too may be
that you might want a shot
and I don't
and that too may be
and that you can still love me
that I see that I write with my right hand
and you with your left
and that those words also form sentences
that sometimes I can read
and that sometimes I can’t
and that too may be
that we can be kind to each other in our being different
that it doesn't matter what I believe
or you don’t believe
that there are no rules outside of your own
that determine what you do
what you wear
what you say
and what you may feel
that I see it's not your fault
if you can't feed yourself
and that I know I will feed you
if you can’t
because you are me
and I am you
that I cry when you are in pain
that I smile when you are happy
because you are me
and I am you
that I see I know as much as you don't know
and I don't know as much as you do know
that I see that when I hurt you
I put pain upon myself
that I see when I don't want to hear you
I can't listen to myself
because you are me
and I am you
that we can be kind to each other
if we seem more different
than the same
because we are much more the same
than that we are not
because we are much more connected
than we are separate
if we dare to look
if we dare to see
if we dare to feel
